Morgan Family Marathon

The whole month of Christmas is Basically considered "Morgan Marathon Month." But really it's the about the 24th-the 30th. This year consisted of:

• Christmas Eve w\The Morgans
• Christmas Night w\The Morgans
• Friday the 26th- "Marley and Me" w\The Morgans
• Saturday "7 Pounds" w\The Morgans
• Sunday-Tuesday Brighton Cabin w\The Morgans.

Wow. Now you all know that no one should ever complain to us about needing to spend more time with the MORGANS! Luckily, we love them. And are thankful to live so close that we got to see our families all the time! Here are some cabin pics~

SOME CHRISTMAS HIGHLIGHTS...

A time-line of the 24th-25th of DECEMBER:

• Christmas Eve morning we went to Breakfast with the J&E Morgans. This is our new Christmas Tradition. We had so much fun with them. Love love them. And are thankful to have them as friends.
• Talked to the Little Bro's on Missions. Both are doing lovely and continue to make us proud.
  
• Christmas Eve w\ Morgan Family. Love the cousins. Crazy White Elephants- including a "Yodeling Pickle."
• Christmas Morning with my family. FUN having the JARVIS family sleep over. The little girls add MUCH excitement to Christmas Morning.
  
• Mother's Delicious Christmas Morning Breakfast. YUM!
• Lots of lovely gifts. We are very blessed.
• The Harris\Jarvis Family\Uncle Roo up and left on Christmas Day to go to DISNEYLAND! We were sure sad to see them go, but they had so much fun. Is there a more exciting thing than going to The Most Magical Place on Earth on CHRISTMAS DAY?? I think not.
  
• Lunch w\the Bennett Family. Visited with Grandpa Vern. We sure love him.
• Movie Night @ Steve & Sandys. Treats and cousins galore.
• Crazy Blizzard Snowfall. Accomponied by lots of Snug Sesh's by the fire.
  

I got a new camera for Christmas! {I LOVE IT!} Sadly, I didn't take many pictures on Christmas Day because it had to charge for a while. So, here are a few of what I got...

Love and Lights

On Saturday night, we had the pleasure of going on a double-date with my Parents to the {Mormon Tabernacle Christmas Concert.} This has been a long-lived family tradition of ours to do every Christmas Season. It was completely SPECTACULAR and edifying in every way. We feel so blessed to live here in Utah so close to such wonderful oppurtunitys.
This is already our FOURTH Christmas Season together. It is so amazing how fast time flies.

Let the Festivites Begin!

On Monday Night we got together with The Morgan's (and cousins) and created some pretty awesome, edible masterpieces.
Casey and Jared were busy studying for finals, so us girls decided to take advantage of girl time.

Okay... Erin's is on the left, mine is on the right. CLEARLY hers belongs in the Gingerbread House section at the Festival of Trees. She is a {PERFECTIONIST} and it really does show. This picture for sure is an example of our personality differences. You should have SEEN the disaster I was making!
Okay, so I just had to throw in yet again, another photo of my Sydney Girl. She just never stops getting cuter!
Syd took a picture... (actually about 18 pictures) of us at the girls' gymnastics. This girl is going to be a photographer when she grows up! She is only 2 1/2!! Pretty good camera skills.

My parents cat, Oreo, has takin' a liking to Casey. The best part about it, is that Casey talks to Oreo like he is a 5 year old human. I love it. It makes me laugh every time.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!

I had a very fabulous birthday this year... Here are the highlights:

• My most amazing and wonderful Hubster took the day off to hang out with ME!!
• Slept in, SHOPPED, and Dined. {Thank you Parents for my Nordstrom Gift Card and Thank-you Morgan Parents for the money!!}
  
• He gave me a BRAND SPANKIN' new ipod. Oh, how I Love it.
  
• Sadly, he had to go to school....
• That's when my other BFF Erin Stepped in...

We went to the FESTIVAL OF TREES.
Fun. Cinnamon Rolls and Homeade Suckers.
Delightful Holiday Festivities Galore.
She is a very beautiful BFF. Especially 7 months pregnant.

Lovely Lamp Shade

A Few weeks ago, I laid my eyes on this Lovely Lamp Shade from ANTHROPOLGIE.
A store I love and {ADORE.}
I fell In LOVE.
.... Seeing that the lovely pricetag was $75.00, my little heart broke. A lamp shade? For 75 dollars?? There is no sense in that. And the hubster would DEFINATLEY not see any sense in that.
SO, I improvised. Decided to create my own ANTHRO Lamp Shade LOOK-A-LIKE.

• Pottery Barn Lamp Shade.... $8.00 from Down East Outfitters.
• Supplies, including Fabric and Fabric Glue.... $15.00
  
• Total Price of my Lovely Lamp Shade.... $23.00

Day-After Thanksgiving Movie Marathon
