What a Merry Christmas!

What a sweet Christmas we had this year.

So much fun with Mr. Roman.

He got some new Binky's and a couple new outfits from Santa.

And lots of fun toys and clothes from his Grandparents.

It was so fun too,

having our own home to wake up in on Christmas morning.

where we really focused on the Savior.

Little Buddies

Last week, my friend Stacy brought her little boy over to play!

He is 4 weeks older than Roman.

It was so cute to watch them interact.

Okay, seriously? He could not get any cuter.

No wonder why I can't get anything done!

I can't get my lips off of this boy!

They held hands for 10 minutes straight.

So cute.

And here is our perfect little Christmas Tree.

We have been busy trying to get the house in order before Christmas.

So much work to be done, and so little time!

We've Moved....

We have been a bit tied up lately...

We moved last weekend.

Moving is exhausting.

I hope we don't do it again for a long, long time!

Today is his last final.

Then one more semester and he is DONE!!!

How he balances work, school, & family, I have no clue.

But every day I love & admire him more.

Mr. Romes is a ladies man.

Last night Roman met Santa for the first time!

It was so cute! He isn't old enough

to freak out or anything. So he pretty much just sat there.

I had way more fun than he did!

The weekend of Thanksgiving we went up to

the cabin with some of the Morgan's.

Weight: 11 lbs 14 oz.

Height: 23 inches

He is in the 55% for every catagory! Even his noggin.

Also, we are moving next week!

We get the keys to our house on Monday.

Baby Romes is getting big! He will be 7 weeks old tomorrow!

This morning, after his 7am bottle, he fell back asleep til 10am!!

So, I did too!!

What do you know for sure??

This last weekend I had the blessing of being able to go downtown with my Mom and Sisters to "Time Out For Women." It is kind of like a mini Education Week or Women's Conference. They do it all over the Nation. It is sponsored and put on by Deseret Book. This year they finally came to Salt Lake City! It was a lot of fun and very edifying. There were several great speakers, including Sheri Dew, Michael Wilcox and Wendy Watts Nelson. Jenny Oaks Baker did the music on Friday night and Hilary Weeks was there for Saturday. It was really fun. I really suggest you look into going next year! You can find out more by clicking HERE.

The theme was SWEET ASSURANCE. They talked about the sweet assurances that we have here on this Earth. They asked us to think about this question:

What do I know for SURE?

• Well, one thing I know for sure, is that when all is said and done, all that matters is my family. My Husband. My Baby Boy. Not my house, not my car, not the clothes I wear, not how much money we make, NOTHING.
• I know that the Savior lives and is real and is here for me.
• I know that families can be together forever, thanks to the Atonement and the blessings of the temple.

on this day, 3 years ago,

i married mr. casey b.morgan.

on the morning of that day, i woke up totally calm

and collected. i was not one bit nervous.

i knew i was making the best- and the most right decision

that i would ever make.

this morning, 3 years later,

i woke up with that same feeling.

it's true.

it was the best decision i ever made.

and this morning when casey kissed

me goodbye as he left for work...

i knew it could only get better from here.

An End of October Catch up!

We have been busy here at the Morgan Household!

For starters, last Sunday, Baby Roman was blessed along

with his two cousins.

Jared's sweet Mom makes all these millions of

MELTS MY HEART.

4 weeks have come and gone so fast....

But it seems like he has been with us forever...

Little Rome's is growing up so fast already!
It's amazing how I have just known him for 4 weeks,
but I feel like I know everything about him.
And I can't remember life without him!

He is such a good baby.
He usually sleeps til about 4 am every night.
We can't complain about that!

This is Casey's cousin Alex, and their baby Lily.
She is 4 months older than Roman.
{Have you ever seen a baby with more hair?}
She is adorable!

Everyone comments on his big beautiful
blue eyes and his great skin.
Both are true.
His Daddy has great skin too.
Must be genetics!

Casey has excelled in every way possible in Fatherhood.
He never ceases to amaze me!
He surprised me with an amazing "Mommy" gift.
I will have to tell you about that one later!
{It's good ladies... one word ...Tiffany's!}

He loves his bath time!
He could easily fall asleep in there if we would let him!
Being a Mommy is the best thing ever.
We love you Baby Rome's!

Making lots of Memories...

Our great friend, and the talented Tara Shreeve came over a week or two ago and took Roman's first official baby pictures. Here are some favorites. We are still waiting to see the rest, but I am sure there are more cute ones to come!

I didn't think it was POSSIBLE
to love Casey more than I already did.
But then we had a baby.
I have no words to explain it.
You just have to go through it to know it, I think.

We are so deeply grateful - every single day-
for the joy that Roman has brought to our lives.
I always imagined what Parenthood would be like...
this has surpassed all of my dreams.
It's amazing how I have only "known" him for 3 weeks,
but I feel like I know him so well.
And I love him so deeply.

I just wish I could slow down time...

He Has ARRIVED!

I am going to try to tell you in the shortest way possible,

about the most amazing day of my life.

{Next to getting married, of course...}

So, last Tuesday I went to my usual Doctor's appointment and my Blood Pressure

was miraculously high. I think it was a gift from Heaven.

My Doctor asked me if I could be back to the hospital and 6pm

and we could have our baby! It was such a huge surprise!!

So, long story short, that's how we ended up at the hospital two weeks early,

ready to have our sweet baby boy...

They made me wear a mask most the night because I had a "cold."

The nurses were all germa-phobes.

{ p.s. look how huge my belly was!! }

2 in the morning and delirious...

Casey wanted to hold up 10 fingers to represent that I was finally to a 10!

After 18 hours of Labor, it was finally time to push!

{That's right... I said EIGHTEEN. }
well, it was really twenty, but anyway...

... ... ... ... ... ... ... ...

And then, he came. After pushing for only 45 minutes,

this precious baby boy was looking me in the eyes.

2:06 p.m.

9 lbs 1 0z.

and 20 inches long

See? I told you he was staring me in the eyes...

Casey was so sweet and perfect during my whole labor and delivery.

He is such a good Daddy and has been so extremely helpful and supportive.

I am so lucky to have him.

We are in love.

Getting ready to go home...

So, there ya have it.

Having little Roman in our lives has made us happier then I could ever imagine. We feel so blessed to be trusted to raise this little boy.

I am so full of emotion 24\7.

I can't even tell people how much I love him or I just start crying!

Needless to say, we are so happy.

A little exhausted, but happy.

This blog is going to become a Roman blog.

Sorry. I just know it's all I am ever going to want to talk about.
