It's about time you meet my better half...

casey benjamin.
i love you so much it hurts.
happy birthday!
~~~~~~~
Today is a big day.
Mr. Casebone turns a quarter of a century!
I am so proud to be married to this man.
Since we fell in love 4 years ago,
he has- and is still becoming so successful.
He has accomplished so much.
He is insanely good at balancing his time.
He works 40 hours a week,
goes to the gym on his lunch break at work,
goes to school tuesday, wednesday and thursday nights,
comes home to study the scriptures,
plays on a softball league on monday nights,
basketball every Saturday...
and still finds time for me.
He is my hero.
So today, its my turn to spoil him rotten.
To start, here are ten things I love and adore about my husband.
1. When he smiles, his eyes squint and he gets these adorable smile lines.
2. He can make me laugh until I cry. (or pee my pants... whichever comes first)
3. You will never hear him complain. About anything!
The most optomistic person you will ever meet.
4. His masculine physique is just about to die for. He is so handsome.
5. He sings all day long. Out loud. He loves to rock out to classic rock.
He has a beautiful singing voice and is a talented guitar player.
6. He will be the best Dad in the whole world. I have known this one
from the very start.
7. He is obsessed with bar soap, loves homeade chocolate chip cookies,
has the BEST skin, and LOVES Diet Coke.
8. He loves to mow the lawn.
9. He can't resist playing with my hair. Ever.
No matter what is going on, if my head is in his hands reach,
he HAS to play with my hair. I think it's an addiction.
10. The love and devotion he has for our Savior. His testimony is so
strong. Also, he makes me feel like the only girl on Earth.
A list of ten things is simply not enough
to explain how much I love him.
But I know he knows. And that's all that matters.
I love you casey!
Happy Birthday!!
Thank you for being my best friend.
For keeping me laughing.
And just so you know,
I still get butterflies when you kiss me.
xoxo. your wife
It's A....
BOY!!!
Maybe I did have a little Mother's Intuituion afterall!
I always thought it was a boy!
We are soooo excited.
Watching our little baby boy was one of the best moments of my life!
He was jumping all over the place and waving to us, I swear.
I am already so in love.
And I love Casey more and more everyday.
This baby thing is a pretty amazing experience.
Maybe I will get technical and figure out how to put some pictures up!
This is a happy day!
Apple Baby
Last night Casey had a dream that our baby had an apple head.
I think it's because I told him that this week
our baby is the size of an apple.
It made me laugh so hard!!
Tomorrow we get to finally find out...
Boy or Girl.
I am sooo excited!!
We will keep you posted!
Big News...
Most of you by now have heard the news!
We are so happy to tell you that we are having a baby!
I am 15 Weeks and due October 13th, 2009.
Looking back, it makes me wonder why I was so worried.
It was hard to wait. Patience is a virtue, right?
We feel sooooo blessed.
And can't wait to meet our little one.
I can't stand to wait,
so we are going to find out the sex on FRIDAY!!
So, take the poll!!
We want to know... do you think we are having a
BOY or a GIRL??
~~~
And just as a side note...
my sister, sister-in-law, and 3 cousins are ALL having girls!
Don't let that sway your vote...
I'm just sayin'...

A Dixie Vacation

Almost THREE weeks ago Case and I went down to St.George to spend the weekend with our beloved Grandpa Vern. {Bennett.... aka... Casey's Grandpa}
We always have such a lovely time down there. As you can see... I have been a big slacker at blogging lately! I have been putting many things aside. Anyway, my camera died while in St. George, but here are a few pics I got!
This is us at the top of the Narrows in Zions. Do ya like my sweet hikin' shoes\skirt combo? It was more like a pleasant stroll through Zions National Park. The skirt felt good too cuz it was nice and breezy!
Me and Vern. Ya gotta love him!

Sweet shades!
We stopped in a little town called GRAFTON. It's like an old Ghost Town really! It's totally abandoned but it was an early neighborhood of some Pioneers. It was really interesting. We loved being there and imagining life without electricity! And always having to watch your back for Indians!
It was a really great weekend. Much needed for me and my Hunny!
Thanks Grandpa Vern!!

I am Humbled...

My little brother #2's Mission has it's own blog,
run by the Mission President's wife.
Every month she puts together a little slideshow with pictures of the missionaries for us families at home to see.
I thought I would share the link to the video with you today.
{Click HERE.}
She just posted the one for March and there are SEVERAL pics of Craig. In this weeks letter, he casually mentioned that he got
BIT by a MONKEY!! {what??}
(Just a reminder...He is in Guyana right now)
They live in little shack-like houses, live off of rain water
and sometimes have no power.
~~~
Meanwhile, my other little brother, {Mike} is living in
Colorado Springs, Colorado where he is surrounded by luxury cars and houses. Their missions could not be MORE different!! But the cool thing about it is that although they are so extremely different, they are both there teaching the SAME exact thing. The gospel is the SAME no matter where you go in the world. I love that about our church. I am just feeling extra grateful this week for such amazing little brothers and for being able to be apart of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I hope you watch the video and enjoy!!
Here is a taste of heaven for you...
Are you kidding?
Have you ever seen a cuter new born smile?
~~~~~~~
Alright... so baby Sawyer is now two weeks old!
I can't believe it's already been that long.
And even though I have seen and visited with him SO much,
I haven't taken any new pictures
 because I am too busy  snuggin' with this little man!
So... I will be better.
 Or, you can click here too...
 I am sure she {Erin} will be better at posting pictures,
seeing that it is her child and all.
Such a sweet little man. He was so calm and peaceful.
I LOVE this picture of the proudest new Dad in town!
He is madly in love.
They already watch Sports Center together...
This makes Casey green with envy,
and he can't wait to do the same someday!

Sawyer has big hands and feet...
as you can see, they were still a little purple.
Precious none the less.
I like his striped diaper too.
What a stylish little man.
He for SURE has Erin's little mouth in this picture!
 I think it's been decided though,
 that he looks just like Jared when he was a baby.
~~~~~~~~
We love love LOVE you Baby Sawyer!
Love, Casey and Lisa
February 20, 2009
He has arrived.
Sawyer Lee Morgan.
The child of my BEST friend in the whole world Erin Marie,
and her husband Jared Morgan.
He came with a full head of hair,
early this morning.
12:18 a.m. to be exact.
8 pounds even & 21 inches long.
At first glance, I loved him with a thousand hearts.
It was an honor to be there when this little miracle
came into the world.
Thank-you Erin and Jared for allowing us to be apart of it all.
Pictures coming soon...
Nothin' like Birthday Dinners and Steaks.
Last Friday we went to dinner to celebrate our great friend Ryan's Birthday at Outback Steakhouse.
I am not a huge Meat-Lover...
so I just had a baked potato and salad.
That made me quite content.
Here they are.... the happy couple. Ryan & Lindsey.
Birthday boy and Bride-To-Be.
They are getting married at the end of the month!
Erin and I.... she, by the way, is due in 9 days!!
Tara, Nick and Jared.
And last but not least...
some more of our friends.
{Sorry Tim, that's kind of an awkward picture of you}
~~~~~~~

We had lots of fun! Thanks friends for a great night!
And just a cool side note-
My sister-in-law {Jessica} announced she is pregnant last week.
Her due date is
 09-09-09.
I think that's pretty awesome!!

love love love

it is the month of love.
my favorite holiday {2nd only to christmas}
i love and cherish valentines day. always have.
i love that in just about every store you enter,
red and pink hearts welcome you.
i love that even if you aren't in a relationship,
you can still celebrate the love you have for your
family and friends. neighbors. pets.
i love conversation hearts.
i love all things pink, flowery and romantic.
and i love love love to love.
and to kiss my darling.

today i was feeling a bit sad.
maybe just feeling sorry for myself.
but i was thinking that sometimes-that must be okay.
{you know, feeling sorry.}
so i picked up my phone
and called the man who can always cheer me up.
and i requested that he leave his mandatory all day work meetings.
and rescue me.
and take me to a warm and sunny-
flowery meadow.
where we could lay in a blanket
and watch the clouds go by until the sun went down.
~
sadly, the meetings were mandatory.
followed by a mandatory work dinner-
accomponied by a guest speaker.
i sure miss him on a night like tonight.
and should i be so lucky that i am still conscious when he arrives-
i will kiss him til' my hearts content.
~
happy month of love.
i hope you find someone to kiss goodnight too.
